In 1996, the Company took the lead in obtaining the new drug certificate and production permit for Lovastatin in China. This project was included in the National Torch Plan and was listed as one of the key new products of Guangdong Province. The project was also awarded the second prize of Scientific and Technical Progress by the former State Drug Administration and gained the title of Guangdong Torch excellent project prize.
In 1999, the Company introduced Mevastatin production strain and process technology, and successfully realized scale-up production of Mevastatin through absorption of the introduced technology. In 2006, Mevastatin was listed as one of the ¡°knowledge intense and technology intense¡± products.
In 2000, the Company successfully introduced and developed Pravastatin Sodium, which was included in the list of ¡°100 science and technology innovation engineering projects of Guangdong Province¡±.
Inr 2006, Pravastatin was listed as one of the ¡°knowledge intense and technology intense¡± products.
